Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Travelex. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing employee relations support, advice, and guidance to managers and team members across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and appeal procedures.
  • Coach and support managers in resolving underperformance, long-term ill health/absence issues, and flexible working requests.
  • Manage high-risk cases, including ACAS early conciliation claims and Employment Tribunal applications.
  • Handle employee relations queries, including personal welfare issues raised by employees and managers.
  • Support managers in resolving probation-related issues and provide guidance on maternity/paternity/parental leave and other family-friendly statutory entitlements/company policy.
  • First point of contact for all higher-level ER queries.
  • Responsible for the coaching and development of the HR Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Strong HR Generalist knowledge and experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence people at multiple levels and provide development and coaching support to HR Coordinator.
  • Pragmatic and creative approach to HR, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Solid Microsoft skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and HRIS skills.
