About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Post-Registration Pharmacist to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Post-Registration Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to our patients and contributing to the development of our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to allocated wards, including medication reconciliation, discharge planning, and patient counseling.
  • Work closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Participate in the on-call service and contribute to the development of our pharmacy team.
  • Undertake a comprehensive foundation level training program, including studying for the Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice at the University of Bradford.
  • Progress to a Band 7 clinical pharmacist role upon completion of certain training requirements and successful submission of a portfolio of evidence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered pharmacist or a trainee pharmacist who will be eligible to register with the GPhC before starting in post. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
