Prescribing Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented services to individuals struggling with substance misuse.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose service users' needs, developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe and review medication, ensuring evidence-based practice and adherence to national and local protocols.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality governance systems and processes.
- Participate in shared learning, collaborating with other clinical teams to improve healthcare quality and respond to local and national policies.
- Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration and two years post-qualification experience, or first-level registered nurse with a current PIN and three years post-qualification experience.
- Post-graduation qualification in drugs and/or alcohol (RCGP).
- At least one year's relevant and recent experience of working within substance misuse treatment.
- Clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services, sound knowledge of clinical prescribing issues, harm reduction, and health promotion interventions.
- Ability to assess and recovery plan service users, formulate written reports, and contribute to project development.
- Full driving license and access to own transport, or ability to demonstrate easy movement between services.
- Knowledge of local services and geography, commitment to engaging with, understanding, and promoting Change Grow Live's values and vision.
- Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding best practice, professional integrity, and equality, diversity, and inclusion best practice.
