Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

About Us: The Different Hospitality is a dynamic and growing company that operates a chain of casual restaurants in the UK. We are committed to providing exceptional dining experiences to our customers and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Lead a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure that they are providing excellent service and meeting the company's standards.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive and memorable experience.
  • Assist with the preparation of menus, promotions, and other marketing materials.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that the restaurant is meeting the company's standards and that all procedures are being followed.
  • Assist with the management of inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor control, and customer service.
