Position Overview


The School of Education is seeking a dedicated administrator to join our Learning & Teaching Administration team.

Under the guidance of the Learning & Teaching Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate with a team of four administrators to enhance student learning across various educational programs.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to gain valuable experience in teaching and learning support.


Located in a modern facility, this position allows for a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

The postholder will work closely with the broader Education Professional Support Services team, particularly with the Learning & Teaching Manager, Learning & Teaching Coordinator, and Student Support Officer.


The ideal candidate will not only maintain but also enhance processes and systems that support the School's objectives.

Prior experience in educational administration is advantageous, and candidates should demonstrate exceptional organizational skills along with outstanding communication and customer service abilities.

To be considered for this position, candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

Essential Qualifications/Experience

  • Five GCSEs at Grade C or level four (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in a busy office environment providing front-line administrative services or relevant qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient digital skills, including experience with digital devices, applications, and Microsoft 365.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
  • Capability to provide guidance to colleagues and customers.
Desirable Criteria

  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours during peak periods.
  • Experience in higher education and multicultural environments.
