About the Role
The Computer Science Industry Club serves as a vital link between the corporate sector and academic institutions. Companies that join this initiative contribute an annual membership fee, which grants them access to a diverse talent pool, exceptional academic resources, and significant research opportunities. In return, students benefit from various placement and employment avenues.

Key Responsibilities
The Industry Partnership Coordinator will be the primary liaison between the Computer Science Department and Industry Club members. Your role will involve:
  • Establishing and nurturing effective networks and relationships with industry partners.
  • Being the first point of contact for Club partners, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Maintaining and enhancing relationships with current partners while actively engaging potential new members.
  • Organizing a high-quality schedule of Industry Club events aimed at boosting student employability, curriculum enhancement, and fostering academic-industry collaboration.
  • Coordinating events such as student project showcases, research exhibitions, employer insight trips, guest lectures, and advisory board meetings.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and optimization of processes and systems, while spearheading new initiatives.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, with relevant experience in event management within a commercial or higher education context.
  • Proven experience in managing business relationships and networking.
  • Strong IT, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
