We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Risk Manager to join our team at Specsavers. As a key member of our Risk team, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering our risk management strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the protection of our assets and liabilities from insurable losses.
- Support the group insurance department in achieving our insurance goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, colleagues, and insurance brokers.
- Assist with renewing global and UK/Guernsey insurance policies and provide professional advice to key stakeholders.
- Process premium and claims payments, handle reconciliations and premium recharges, and ensure all necessary documentation and certificates are issued promptly.
- Strong technical insurance experience and knowledge, ideally in property, casualty, and financial lines.
- Experience using analytics to influence insurance programme design.
- Excellent organisational qualities, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, insurance brokers, and insurers.
