Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with NSC Standards/QA/KPI's through systematic audits and evaluations of service delivery.
- Coordinate and implement effective processes and systems to mitigate risks associated with antenatal and newborn screening.
- Provide expert clinical leadership, offering support and specialized guidance to the multidisciplinary team concerning women facing increased screening risks or fetal anomalies. It is essential to ensure that healthcare professionals receive adequate training to assist women undergoing screening.
- Empower midwives and healthcare support workers by serving as a professional role model, exemplifying best practices, and providing necessary support, advice, and guidance.
- Facilitate the delivery of the fetal medicine service.
- Maintain clinical and managerial competence through ongoing professional development.
Work Schedule:
The position requires a commitment of hours per week, Monday to Friday.
