Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Workforce Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational individual to join our Faculty of Healthcare, Childcare and Public Services as a Clinical Workforce Development Manager. This newly created role will play a crucial part in the development of the clinical workforce of the future for our region.

About the Role

As a Clinical Workforce Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing the clinical curriculum at all levels in the faculty, with a particular emphasis on our Higher Technical Education. This includes the FdSc Assistant Practitioner programme and the upcoming Nursing Associate programme. You will work closely with our NHS and healthcare partners to ensure full collaboration and manage the work of a team of dedicated placement officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical curriculum at all levels in the faculty
  • Liaise with NHS and healthcare partners to ensure full collaboration
  • Manage the work of a team of dedicated placement officers
  • Work closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Faculty
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with significant experience of working in Healthcare and a Registered Nurse or Midwife qualification. You will also hold a recognised teaching qualification for the Further Education and Skills sector.
