Learning Support Assistant - Key Worker Job Summary

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to children and teachers, enabling access to learning for pupils with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work under the direction and guidance of the Class Teacher, supporting a named child and others within the classroom. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils, enabling them to access the curriculum and make progress. Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Class Teacher to develop and implement individualized support plans for pupils.

Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development. You will have a strong understanding of the needs of children with special educational needs and be able to provide individualized support to pupils. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff.
