Role Overview: As an Assistant Project Surveyor, you will play a vital role in supporting a seasoned team of Surveyors in the financial oversight of commercial contracting activities within the civil engineering, groundwork, and highway sectors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage in various tasks, from evaluating work variations to managing final accounts, as you develop your expertise in the field.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontract orders to contractors.
  • Support cost and value reconciliation for all project items.
  • Monitor expenditures related to both in-house and subcontract labor, as well as material procurement.


Qualifications:

  • A college-level education in a construction-related field, or a degree/equivalent, or currently pursuing a university-level qualification.
  • Previous experience in a commercial capacity within the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
