Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, during an exciting period of sustained business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant equipment, including injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment, to ensure continuity of production.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on plant and equipment, with a focus on hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic automation controls.
  • Assist with the maintenance programme for all plant and equipment, including validation of new equipment and upgrades.
  • Process and equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis, with a focus on improving efficiency and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and servicing, in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical and electrical engineering/maintenance, with a focus on plastic injection moulding maintenance and mould machinery equipment servicing.
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic automation controls.
  • Experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Full driving licence.
