Director of Facilities Management

Position: Head of Maintenance

Location: Bromley, Kent

Salary: £62,500 Plus Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and actively oversee the Company Asset Management Plan (AMP) ensuring all tasks are prioritized effectively.
  • Oversee the execution of all capital investment initiatives, including the Investment Fund.
  • Manage vendor agreements to ensure effective communication and strengthen partnerships.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the Company in property negotiations with Clients.
  • Champion energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to minimize consumption and control costs.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of technical personnel in alignment with the Company's standards and industry benchmarks.
  • Responsible for the direct management of all members within the Asset Management Team.
  • Establish transparent procurement procedures to maximize the company's financial returns.
  • Continuously enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and product offerings.
  • Initiate and lead a capital investment strategy, including the construction and renovation of facilities.
  • Support the establishment of comprehensive Quality Management Systems across the organization.
  • Enhance the company's reputation and trustworthiness with all stakeholders.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental management protocols.
  • Possess technical expertise and actively contribute to business development efforts.
  • Recognize that safeguarding is a collective responsibility, ensuring the health and well-being of vulnerable individuals.

Experience & Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in driving high performance within a technical service environment.
  • Proven track record in loss mitigation through a proactive approach to insurance claims.
  • Ability to interpret strategic goals and translate them into actionable operational plans.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior facilities management role across multiple sites or contracts.
