Director of Facilities Management

Position: Head of Maintenance

Location: Bromley, Kent

Salary: £62,500 Plus Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and consistently update the Company Asset Management Plan (AMP) ensuring all tasks are prioritized effectively.
  • Oversee the execution of all capital investment initiatives, including the Investment Fund in Bromley.
  • Manage vendor contracts to establish effective communication channels and enhance relationships with suppliers.
  • Serve as the primary representative for the Company in property negotiations with Clients.
  • Champion energy efficiency and environmental strategies to lower consumption and counteract cost escalations.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of technical personnel against the Company's standards and industry benchmarks.
  • Lead the management of all team members within the Asset Management division.
  • Implement transparent procurement procedures to maximize the company's financial returns.
  • Continuously enhance operational effectiveness, service quality, and product offerings to consumers.
  • Initiate and manage a capital investment strategy, encompassing the construction and renovation of facilities.
  • Support the establishment of comprehensive Quality Management Systems and related processes across the organization.
  • Work towards improving the company's reputation and credibility with all stakeholders.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental management protocols.
  • Possess technical expertise and actively contribute to securing new business opportunities.
  • Uphold the responsibility of safeguarding the health and well-being of children and vulnerable adults.

Experience & Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in driving exceptional performance within a technical service environment.
  • Proven track record of minimizing losses through a proactive approach to insurance claims.
  • Ability to interpret strategic objectives and translate them into actionable operational plans.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior facilities management role across multiple sites or contracts.
