Job Title: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Experienced)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in Luton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our NHS hospital service.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation, drug chat screening, and offering advice to patients on the wards. You will also work closely with the inpatient and outpatient dispensary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
  • Offer advice to patients on the wards and in the dispensary
  • Work closely with the inpatient and outpatient dispensary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy services and policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning
Requirements:
  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
