About the Role:

As a Maintenance Operative at AmegA Sciences Ltd, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure the overall safety and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintenance Execution: Carry out maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades of equipment, systems, and facilities, as required.
  • Contractor Engagement: Collaborate with external contractors to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Improvement Projects: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Inventory and Procurement: Assist with the management of maintenance stock inventory, order spare parts, and source quotes for maintenance supplies.
  • Equipment Management: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance check sheets to ensure that equipment is in good working order.

About You:

  • You must hold a recognized operational qualification or an apprenticeship in maintenance.
  • You should have excellent decision-making skills, with a focus on hazard identification and risk management.
  • You should have a strong ability to communicate business and departmental objectives, fostering an informed and engaged team culture.
