Role Summary:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our facilities function efficiently and safely.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Preventative Upkeep: Actively identify and resolve maintenance requirements in facilities, systems, and machinery to avert malfunctions. Maintenance Implementation: Carry out maintenance duties within your skill set, including working with pneumatic systems, production machinery (automated filling lines, mixing vessels, pipe installation, shelving, basic electrical upkeep, and construction tasks). Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with external service providers to ensure high standards and efficiency in maintenance operations. Enhancement Initiatives: Recognize and execute enhancements; oversee the design, creation, installation, and commissioning of projects. Compliance and Safety: Actively engage in the health and safety team, ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Inventory Management: Support maintenance inventory management, procure spare parts for machinery and equipment, and obtain quotes for maintenance supplies. Equipment Oversight: Conduct routine inspections and maintain and review maintenance logs.

Candidate Profile

You should possess a recognized operational qualification or an apprenticeship in maintenance. A proficient decision-maker with a focus on hazard identification and risk management, ensuring safe operations and compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards. General safety certification or equivalent. Strong communication skills to convey business and departmental goals, fostering an informed and engaged team environment.
