Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords, the UK's largest Automotive service, maintenance and repair business. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitability and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role: As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Business Performance: You will be responsible for driving business performance, focusing on customer satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability.
  • Leadership and Coaching: You will work alongside the Centre Manager to provide coaching and training to colleagues, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Technical Expertise: You will have a strong understanding of automotive technical skills and be able to provide guidance and support to technicians.
  • Time Management: You will be responsible for managing your time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Customer Focus: You will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
