Temporary Catering Support Assistant

Location: Torquay

Hourly Rate: £11.44

Hours: 20 per week

Temporary Role: Up to 12 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in meal and beverage preparation while adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Collaborating with customers, families, and staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Performing general duties, including the upkeep of kitchen areas and communal spaces.
  • Identifying and reporting safety hazards to ensure a secure environment.
  • Managing inventory levels and restocking supplies as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in a catering or hospitality setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with general cleaning practices is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Basic understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Hospitality & Catering, or a willingness to pursue this qualification.
