Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Hospital Services Assistant. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of catering service to patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital
  • Assist in the preparation and service of food to patients, staff, and visitors to the hospital
  • Clean on a daily basis all areas of the catering department to the agreed standard
  • Ensure that all foodstuffs are prepared and served in accordance with current health and hygiene regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (if not already held, company-funded training must be undertaken)
  • Previous catering experience (desirable)
  • Customer service NVQ or equivalent (desirable)
