About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team at our Outstanding Primary School in Westminster.

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to thrive in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students with SEN, ensuring they receive the highest quality education and care.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure students meet their full potential.
  • Provide guidance and support to Teachers and other staff working with SEN students, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs, fostering strong partnerships and a sense of community.
  • Stay informed about current best practices and developments in special education, ensuring you remain up-to-date and equipped to provide the best possible support.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in special education, preferably in a similar setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting all students, regardless of their needs or abilities.
