Position Overview
We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear to enhance our dynamic engineering team. This role is essential for delivering the Design & Project Function within a specialized Nuclear Engineering Group.

Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will:

  • Support the consultancy and operational delivery of major projects for our nuclear clientele.
  • Engage in flexible working arrangements, balancing office presence with remote work to promote well-being.
  • Bring your expertise from regulated environments or other industries to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and effective on-site execution.

Working Arrangement

Candidate Requirements
  • HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical nuclear engineering.
  • Proven proficiency in delivering engineering design across various work categories.
  • Experience in nuclear ventilation, mechanical handling, or nuclear process equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK technical regulatory standards and global best practices.
  • Commitment to sustainability and safety, prioritizing personal well-being and environmental stewardship.
  • Integrity in all professional dealings.
