We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at SYSTRA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanical Engineers and acting as the Responsible Engineer on MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Act as the Responsible Engineer on MEP projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and applicable standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, resource forecasts, and cost estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to address changes in client requirements.
- Collaborate with the SYSTRA Project Management Team to ensure project delivery meets client expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the mechanical team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
- Minimum HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Chartered status or working towards it.
- Extensive experience in mechanical services design, including HVAC, Public Health, Building Physics, and BIM.
- Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services.
- Good communication and presentation skills for external presentations to clients.
- Experience in managing a team of Mechanical Engineers on allocated projects.
