Renewable Energy Engineer Summer Internship

SSE Renewables is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic engineering students to join our team for a 12-week summer internship. As a renewable energy engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

About the Programme

Our summer internship programme is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the renewable energy sector. You will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to real projects and developing your skills in areas such as project management, technical analysis, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hydro power
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical problems
  • Develop and implement new ideas and solutions to improve project efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be a student in your 3rd or 4th year of study, pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or renewable energy engineering. You should have a strong academic record, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
