About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Dunbar Education. As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in a supportive and stimulating learning environment.

You will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners and contributing to their academic and personal development. The successful candidate will be a Key Stage 2 specialist with experience of teaching year 5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupils' participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's curriculum and educational strategies.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress and development.
Key Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to pupils' educational and personal growth.
  • Experience with specific educational programs or interventions.
  • Additional qualifications or training relevant to primary education.
