Technical Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Analyst to contribute to our team's ongoing projects. This role plays a crucial part in converting business requirements into detailed technical specifications that developers can utilize for coding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in technical discussions and contribute to the design and architecture of data solutions.
  • Work extensively with data models and be responsible for data modelling, ensuring data solutions meet business needs and adhere to best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and process flow diagrams.
  • Utilize strong data analysis skills to assess and manipulate large data sets, ensuring data integrity and consistency across projects.
  • Leverage technologies such as SQL, Scala, Hadoop, and other relevant data tools to support the development and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data analytics and financial crime (FinCrime) to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong technical background.
  • Hands-on experience in data modelling and working with data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Scala, Hadoop, or other related data technologies.
  • Familiarity with financial crime (FinCrime) concepts and practices is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in areas related to financial crime, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices and principles.
