Senior Clinical Research Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Laboratory Technician to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Research and Innovation department, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our Cell Therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the processing of peripheral blood stem cells for life-saving transplantation and participate in Cell Therapy work as part of our Stem Cell Apheresis service.
- Work collaboratively with the Anthony Nolan Charity and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and effective delivery of our Cell Therapy services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new methods and technologies to improve our Cell Therapy services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including JACIE and HTA.
- Participate in the provision of a reliable and high-quality analytical service that meets nationally accepted standards.
- HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
- Knowledge of specialist discipline to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent.
- IBMS membership and BBTS Specialist Certificate in Stem Cell Transplantation Science.
- Relevant laboratory experience of at least 12 months in an NHS or UK-based laboratory.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and competency in appropriate laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to colleagues and external stakeholders.
