About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Architect to join our team of experts in consulting services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture of our clients' IT systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Security Architecture: Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures that align with our clients' business objectives and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure that security policies, standards, and best practices are aligned with our clients' goals.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Security Posture: Continuously monitor and evaluate the security posture of our clients' organizations and recommend improvements and enhancements to mitigate risks and threats.
  • Lead Security Advisory Engagements: Lead security advisory engagements, providing expert guidance on security best practices, risk management, and compliance.
  • Develop and Present Client Proposals: Develop and present client proposals, collaborating with teams across our business to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong Foundation in Security: A strong foundation in security principles, practices, and technologies, including identity and access management, web service security, and data protection.
  • Cloud-Native Experience: Experience with cloud-native technologies, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Security Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or SABSA certification, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to abstract complex themes, problem solve, and communicate with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
