Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver NZC advice and low-energy/carbon solutions in architectural and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Work closely with the Studio NZC Lead and NZC Associate Director-Architecture to develop and implement NZC strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver complex projects, including Defence and FCDO projects
  • Develop new clients and opportunities, and win tenders
  • Develop and implement new NZC design, modelling, and reporting methodologies
  • Provide expertise and knowledge to facilitate the delivery of climate-resistant, low-energy buildings
  • Run Net Zero Workshops and model and report on Whole Life, Embodied, and Operational Carbon using tools such as LCA One Click Software and PassivHaus PHPP

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ARB-registered Architect with knowledge and experience in the design and assessment of a wide range of buildings and facilities from inception to completion.

Requirements

  • ARB registration
  • Knowledge and experience in the design and assessment of a wide range of buildings and facilities
  • Proven track record of delivering low-energy buildings and/or retrofit projects
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of an established team
  • Experience in technical detailing, particularly thermal bridging and air tightness
  • Proficiency in REVIT
  • Desirable: experience of using One Click LCA and PassivHaus PHPP
