About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Spectrum IT Recruitment. As a 2nd Line Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to our staff, focusing on more advanced and escalated issues.
  • Collaborate with the service desk manager to improve our IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist the IT team with daily tasks and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Help with 1st line support tasks when needed, adapting to changes in workload and team needs.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an IT support role, especially in a 2nd line capacity.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2016 and 2022 in a hybrid environment, Office 365 (Intune, SharePoint, and Exchange), and desktop hardware.
  • Understanding of networking, including firewall configuration, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a passion for helping others and providing great service.
