Unit Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Nurse Manager to join our team at Willing Care Recruitment. As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the nursing and care team, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the nursing and care team to deliver high-quality care
  • Manage rotas and ensure sufficient cover at all times
  • Recruit and maintain good staffing levels
  • Mentor junior members of staff
  • Ensure all staff complete mandatory and required training
  • Carry out staff supervisions and appraisals
  • Ensure the unit is compliant with CQC and internal policies
  • Manage and monitor medication processes and compliance
  • Complete all relevant audits to ensure internal and external compliance

Requirements:

  • Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Nursing Home experience essential
  • Active NMC PIN
  • Clear DBS
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Good working knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Proven track record of leading a nursing team and delivery of person-centred care, including care planning
