Overview of the Position

We are looking for a skilled Operations Leader to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will manage the daily functions of our community centre, ensuring the provision of exceptional services to our clients while fostering strong connections with our volunteers and partners.

Main Duties:

1. Client Engagement:

Oversee and coordinate the provision of our styling and coaching services Guarantee that every client enjoys a tailored and high-quality experience Assess and analyze service outcomes, utilizing data to enhance performance Formulate and execute strategies to reach a broader audience of women in need Achieve annual objectives for client service delivery

2. Volunteer Coordination:

Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers who assist in delivering our services Create and maintain a volunteer schedule to ensure sufficient coverage for all client interactions, outreach initiatives, and fundraising activities Provide continuous support and development opportunities for volunteers Acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of volunteers

3. Inventory Oversight:

Supervise the management of our clothing and accessory stock Organize clothing donations from individuals and corporate supporters Ensure the dressing area is well-organized and adequately supplied Collaborate with the team to implement efficient stock rotation and disposal practices for unsuitable items

4. Community Relations and Partnerships:

Establish and nurture relationships with local job centres, women's organizations, and other referral partners Represent our community centre at local events and networking functions Organize and host community events such as job fairs Partner with local businesses to secure in-kind contributions and support.

5. Administrative and Operational Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the centre, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and organizational policies Maintain accurate records of clients and volunteers using our database Provide regular updates on centre performance to the Board of Trustees

Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in team management and volunteer coordination
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a charitable or social service context
Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the local community
Awareness of employment challenges faced by women
Background in retail or inventory management

This is a full-time position based at our community centre. The role may require flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to accommodate evening or weekend client appointments or community events.
