About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our Technical and Contract Services team at Severn Trent Water. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our Treatment teams in the West Capital delivery team, working on a diverse range of projects across the waste and water infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects or programmes of work simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and accurate reporting of progress.
  • Develop and implement project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Customer Operations, to prioritize and deliver projects that meet business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Travel independently to sites around the region to deliver projects and attend team meetings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including IOSH Managing Safely and CDM 2015.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach to working.
