About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Manager to join our team at VINCI Building UK. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of digital engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of the divisional strategy and implement relevant documentation
  • Manage client relationships and expectations
  • Support the development of the Design Management Team's skills in digital engineering
  • Monitor the implementation and application of divisional BIM procedures, processes, and plans
  • Undertake quality assurance audits on third parties
  • Manage the Digital Engineering team on the project
  • Fulfil information management responsibilities on the project
  • Provide support to Lead Digital Engineer during BIM Kitemark accreditation
  • Responsible for digital collaboration platform at regional level
  • Support Digital Engineers in their day-to-day job, providing training and guidance
  • Produce standard BIM guidance documents and templates
  • Promote the use of digital engineering technologies
  • Provide up-to-date advice on new digital engineering technologies and tools
  • Propose, develop, and support potential business benefits from digital engineering technologies
  • Support Pre-construction team defining Project Digital strategy during tender stage
  • Provide updates to the regional team on divisional Digital Engineering procedures, processes, and plans
  • Manage and maintain the procurement and application of approved software
  • Develop the competencies of Design and Construction Team in approved BIM software
  • Establish and control BIM Assessment data for subcontract designers
  • Conduct quality assurance audits on third-party BIM and notify project teams of non-compliances
  • Provide periodic management reports on projects using digital engineering technologies
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the Design Management Team on Building Information Models, Asset Data, and COBie type spreadsheets
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and IT management skills
  • Previous experience in the construction sector working on mid-to-large new build and refurbishment projects
  • IFC and other commonly used data exchange formats
  • Viewpoint for Projects
  • Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage)
  • Solibri Office
