About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Technical and Contract Services team at Severn Trent Water. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Treatment teams in the West Capital delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects or programmes of work simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and accurate reporting of progress.
  • Develop and implement project plans, safeguarding milestone delivery and ensuring prompt and accurate reporting of progress.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Customer Operations, to prioritize and manage site activities, such as screw pump replacements, pumping station refurbs, and civils work.
  • Drive the project life cycle, ensuring effective stakeholder management, risk assessment, and quality control.
  • Travel independently to sites around the region to deliver projects and attend team meetings.
Requirements
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive and flexible approach to working, with excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Awareness of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Experience of managing multiple projects or programmes of work, with knowledge of H&S through IOSH managing safely, managing contractors and Suppliers, and CDM 2015.
