Sous Chef Opportunity at PART & COMPANY Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at PART & COMPANY Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service in our 65-cover dining room, as well as overseeing the preparation of up to 1000 covers per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus that showcase classic Modern British cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients and French influences.
  • Lead a well-organized and motivated kitchen brigade, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and producers to source the finest ingredients and support local and regional food systems.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive company culture, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within the kitchen and across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment, with a strong background in classic cuisine and a passion for seasonal and regional British/Mediterranean flavors.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, regions, and suppliers, with a commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients and supporting local food systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
