Christmas Party CoordinatorAbout the Role

Village Hotels is seeking a Christmas Party Coordinator to join our team from now through to the end of December 2024. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for promoting and coordinating our Christmas parties, private events, and other festive activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with sales planning to target potential attendees
  • Develop outreach strategies to engage with local businesses and organizations
  • Implement in-reach promotional activities within the hotel to create interest and secure new bookings
  • Make proactive telephone calls to past and potential customers to secure bookings and answer queries
  • Upsell telephone calls to guests staying over the Christmas period
  • Coordinate events, including chasing payments, menu and drinks choices, and special requests
  • Learn and use our booking systems to update relevant information in a timely manner
  • Research and action exposure on local organizations' intranets and social media
  • Update sales systems with daily figures, inputting new ticket sales and reconciling payments
  • Chase final balance payments

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident on the telephone and face-to-face
  • Knowledge of social media
  • Good written English
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid driving license and access to a car
