About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team at Wolf & Badger. As a Store Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our flagship store in Soho, London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Store Manager to oversee retail employees and manage performance, ensuring daily tasks are delegated and completed to our high standards.
  • Train new retail staff members, drive improvements, and motivate employees to achieve goals and drive repeat sales and other key performance indicators.
  • Role-model and meet your own quarterly targets, deepening your expertise in retail by taking responsibility for our rotating Divisions of Responsibility (DOR) which are Operations, Content, and Shop Floor.
  • Liaise with head-office content and marketing teams and retail colleagues to assist with the production of creative and inspiring videos, photos, and other creative materials for our online presence.
  • Handle store and online administrative tasks, including goods in and goods out.
  • Partner with our office team and Senior Retail and Operations Manager to ensure facilities maintenance, upgrades, and health and safety processes are well-managed.
  • Manage stock and handle supply chain issues, particularly for products displayed in store, and proactively address any stock exceptions.
  • Take responsibility for the store during shifts, coordinate staff rotas, and arrange lunches and breaks.
  • Address customer requests, comments, concerns, or complaints for both store and online customers, liaising with the head-office team where needed.
  • Work with the in-store merchandiser to maintain the general appearance of the store to an exceptionally high standard.
Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills, including delegation, scheduling, and stock management.
  • Experience of improving store operations procedures and taking a leading role in stock changeovers, stock-takes, and other key processes.
  • Confident in making sales and coaching colleagues in shop-floor excellence, to support repeat-custom and long-term relationships with customers and brands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide high-quality feedback to team members and be a point of escalation for customer concerns.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Aesthetic and creative sensibilities to create inspiring social media content and aid our visual merchandiser with in-store displays.
  • Experience of risk-management, such as health and safety, security, and facilities.
  • Sharp attention to detail and curiosity to identify and act on risks and opportunities.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a team player, with a positive and solutions-focussed approach to personnel management.
  • Hands-on, leads by example, and shows commitment to our values of fairness, innovation, and execution.
  • Comfortable using a variety of software and strong with technology.
  • Proactive, thrives under pressure, sees events and changes as exciting opportunities for both business and self.
