Key Responsibilities:
- Assume co-responsibility for the management of a standalone store, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet company objectives.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee payroll, rotas, stocktakes, and reports.
- Take ownership of the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring continuity and excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve store performance.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the wellbeing of our planet, colleagues, community, and customers, aligning with our company values.
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness, and visual merchandising.
- Organize and support in-store and field events to promote our brand, working with partnering businesses.
- Train and develop current and new team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Ensure Health & Safety protocols are followed, taking prompt action to address any issues that arise.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Store Manager.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in retail or a related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting company objectives.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Sharepoint, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
