Position Overview

Role: Employment Support Specialist - Fixed Term

We are looking for a dedicated Employment Support Specialist to join our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) team. This role is pivotal in assisting individuals in securing meaningful employment that aligns with their skills and experiences.

As an Employment Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of those you assist, contributing to a more equitable and inclusive community. You will become part of a motivated and passionate team, receiving the necessary training and support to grow your career in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we are particularly interested in candidates who possess the following qualifications:
  • Understanding or experience in supporting individuals with substance misuse challenges or similar demographics.
  • Proven experience in providing one-on-one support and motivation.
  • Empathy and understanding towards individuals with substance misuse needs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a variety of stakeholders, including clients and employers.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact in people's lives.
  • A degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
