About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Domestic Abuse Specialist to join our Housing Specialisms team at L&Q. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our housing management teams and specialist advisors to ensure confidence and best practice in working with residents who have experienced domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with our front-line housing teams to ensure residents receive a coordinated community response.
  • Navigate 3rd sector support services to ensure residents access the necessary support.
  • Collaborate with services to achieve positive outcomes for residents, including experience of MARAC and DAHA.
  • Develop and implement effective case management strategies for complex cases.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in the domestic abuse field, with a trauma-informed approach.
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulation, and best practice in domestic abuse and safeguarding.
  • Strong case management skills and ability to simplify complex information.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with services to achieve positive outcomes.
