We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Principal Psychologist to lead our Bury Secondary Care Psychological Therapies Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to colleagues, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to service users.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Bring clinical expertise to the team to further develop the clinical delivery model and provide clinical leadership and supervision to colleagues.
- MDT Collaboration: Work as part of an MDT, offering consultation, reflective practice, and supervision to ensure the provision of trauma-informed care.
- Team Development: Help the secondary care services in Bury to grow as a psychologically healthy system and support the development of effective psychological care.
- Consultation and Support: Provide consultation, support, and clinical supervision to other psychological therapy staff, contributing to the development of effective psychological care.
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist with excellent consultation and communication skills, who is trained in and experienced in offering different therapeutic modalities. You will have a desire to support and lead a team through change using a trauma-informed framework.
As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for the provision of specialist expertise with complex and/or challenging cases within the secondary care adult Psychological Therapies Service. You will work with the clinical lead for the adult mental health secondary care pathway and the borough leadership group to ensure robust and effective care for service users who present with complex and/or severe mental health needs.
