Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Qualified In Specialty Nurse to join our team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a key member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to premature or sick newborn babies requiring intensive care, high-dependency, and special care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Trainee Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide continuity of in-service provision and improved quality care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care to premature or sick newborn babies requiring intensive care, high-dependency, and special care under direct or indirect supervision and guidance from the Pediatric Specialist Registrar and/or Consultant Neonatologist.
  • Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in neonatal care.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Neonatal qualification QIS and NLS.
  • Completed Management/leadership course Management course/module.
  • Registered Nurse Adult or Child.
