An exceptional opportunity has emerged to become a part of our esteemed neonatal team within the Division of Surgery at BHRUT NHS. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit stands as one of the largest and most active Level 2 units in the region, dedicated to caring for infants born as early as 27 weeks gestation. We take pride in creating an optimal environment for these vulnerable neonates to grow, thrive, and develop. We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and adaptable Neonatal Qualified in Specialty Nurse to engage in a training program for the Advanced Neonatal Nurse Course. Successful completion of this course will enable the candidate to join our team in delivering high-quality care and support for all our infants and their families.Key Responsibilities
This position aims to enhance outcomes for neonates by ensuring continuity of in-service provision and elevating the quality of care.
Operating within established clinical protocols, the Trainee Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP) will collaborate with qualified ANNPs and the neonatal medical team to provide care for premature or critically ill newborns requiring intensive care, high-dependency, and special care, under the direct or indirect supervision of the Pediatric Specialist Registrar and/or Consultant Neonatologist.
