Position Overview

As a Tax Compliance Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role within our corporate finance division, collaborating closely with the Head of International Tax. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with tax regulations and managing related accounting tasks for our global operations outside the United States.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with experience in both VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, and familiarity with tax accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare statutory tax provisions for UK entities.
  • Assist with Indirect tax compliance across EMEA and APAC regions:
    • Compile data for external tax consultants.
    • Conduct initial reviews of VAT/GST returns.
    • Prepare VAT/GST reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and local standards, and create necessary adjusting entries.
    • Oversee VAT/GST payment processes.
  • Facilitate corporation tax compliance for non-US jurisdictions:
    • Gather data for external tax advisors.
    • Perform preliminary reviews of corporate tax submissions.
    • Manage corporation tax payment schedules.
  • Aid in the preparation of the UK PAYE Settlement Agreement return and other employment tax documentation as required.
  • Provide support for various tax compliance and administrative functions within the broader Tax department as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Accounting or tax qualification (CA, ACA, CTA, ACCA).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), with skills in data manipulation such as pivot tables and lookups.
  • Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to conduct thorough self-reviews to ensure data accuracy.
  • Quick to learn, with strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively across diverse teams, including accounting, audit, business units, corporate tax, FP&A, and finance systems.
  • Excellent documentation, teamwork, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently.
