The Head of Property Services will operate at a strategic level, collaborating with operational teams to ensure cohesive, timely, and efficient property-related matters. This role will increase in line with the company's continued growth, making it an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager or Head of Department looking to become a Director of Property Services.
The position will oversee planned and reactive maintenance works across the company's portfolio of over 220 retirement developments, nationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for Asset Management and planning, and will have the opportunity to help steer and shape the new asset management database.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of Building Surveyors, Contracts Managers, and Property Services Administrators
- Overseeing national and regional contractor, sub-contractor, and supplier agreements to ensure exceptional quality of work and value for money
- Providing advice and guidance on emergency works and management information in respect of property maintenance costs
- Helping to inform future service charge budgets and planned maintenance schedules to enhance service levels for owners
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading property improvements and major works programmes across a portfolio of leasehold properties. They will be highly efficient and organized, bringing a sense of discipline and project management to the role. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy environment and be able to ensure that programmes are scoped and delivered in a timely manner.
