Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to play a vital role in ensuring that all fabricated and welded products meet customer requirements while upholding safety, quality, cost, and delivery standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting fabricated and welded components, calibrating and validating monitoring equipment, collaborating with the engineering team, and maintaining product traceability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect fabricated and welded components: Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated and welded components to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Calibrate and validate monitoring equipment: Calibrate and validate monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain product traceability and compliance: Maintain accurate records of product traceability and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Identify non-conforming parts: Identify and report non-conforming parts to ensure prompt corrective action.
  • Support problem-solving activities: Participate in problem-solving activities to identify and implement solutions to quality-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance or inspection role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, quality assurance).
  • Skills: Proficient in reading engineering drawings, competent in manual inspection processes, and able to write clear inspection reports.
  • Certifications: CSWIP 3.0 certified (CSWIP 3.1 desirable), PCN Level 2 MPI, and PCN Level 2 Dye Pen.
