German Logistics Customer Support Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a German-speaking Logistics Customer Care Associate for our client, a prominent international FMCG organization. This role offers a hybrid working environment and comes with attractive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate deliveries to clients from warehouses located in the UK and EU using various transport methods including road, ferry, and courier services.
- Engage with clients, warehouses, and transport providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Accurately input data into the internal system to facilitate forward allocations and warehouse instructions.
- Issue invoices to clients promptly, ensuring correct VAT calculations.
- Prepare essential shipping documentation such as warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, and packaging labels.
- Address inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage other customer service tasks as needed.
- Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and respond to follow-up inquiries from the finance team.
- Manage non-conformance issues and oversee Block Inventory.
- Occasionally perform on-site inspections of warehouses.
- Process invoices for charges from warehouses, forwarders, and other suppliers.
- Participate in project work as required.
- Provide coverage for team members during absences due to holidays or medical leave.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will be fluent in both German and English, possessing a background in logistics, preferably within the FMCG sector. We are looking for a proactive, organized, and hands-on individual with excellent business communication skills. A passion for a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential, as the company continues to evolve its products and programs.
