Position Overview: A German Speaking Logistics Customer Support Specialist is sought for a prominent international fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operational activities, including management of storage facilities, customer deliveries, international exports, and demand forecasting.
  • Coordinate logistics for customer deliveries from storage locations across the UK and EU utilizing various transport methods such as road, ferry, and courier services.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, storage facilities, and transportation providers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Accurately input data into the internal system to facilitate forward allocations and generate warehouse directives.
  • Prepare essential shipping documentation, including warehouse directives, packing lists, commercial invoices, dangerous goods declarations, and packaging labels.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage other facets of customer service as necessary.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and follow up on inquiries from the finance team.
  • Manage Block Inventory effectively.
  • Occasionally perform on-site evaluations of storage facilities.
  • Process invoicing for charges from storage facilities, freight forwarders, and other service providers.
  • Engage in project-related tasks as required.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be fluent in both German and English and possess a background in logistics, preferably within the FMCG sector. Flexibility to cover for colleagues during absences due to holidays or medical leave is essential.
