German Speaking Logistics Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
Divalentinecalver Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled German Speaking Logistics Customer Care Associate to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing daily business operations, including warehouse management, customer service, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange deliveries to customers from warehouses in the UK and EU by road, ferry, and courier.
- Liaise with customers, warehouses, and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Input correct information onto internal systems to create forward allocations and warehouse instructions.
- Invoice customers promptly, with correct VAT calculated.
- Prepare shipping documents, including warehouse instructions, packing lists, commercial invoices, and dangerous goods notes.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and other aspects of customer service.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliations and handle follow-on enquiries from the finance department.
- Handle non-conformances and block inventory.
- Conduct occasional on-site inspections of warehouses.
- Process charges invoices from warehouses, forwarders, and other suppliers.
- Participate in project work and cover for fellow team members' absences when necessary.
- Perform other duties as required by the manager.
Requirements:
- Fluency in German and English languages.
- Logistics background, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proactive, organized, and hands-on approach.
- Excellent business communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
